Hey! I Found Him!

This is mainly for Sabrina granted that she will probably be the only one who knows what the hell I'm talking about, but..

Regardless of how cult-like MySpace.com really is, it linked me to 3rd grade Sam Draper who'd frequently hum Savage Garden songs. Holy shit!

It even provided me with a picture!

Now all I have to do is wait to see if he even responds to my message. How bizarre.

Big Trucks

So Sam and I were headed home during rush hour yesterday when I noticed this stereotypical blue sedan driving, middle-aged frizzy haired woman accompanied with her dark shades and cigarette hand out the window. Nothing out of the ordinary except how she was driving at least 40mph down the ramp onto Beltline. Rather than waiting her turn, psychotic woman decides to drive to the side of my car and this semi's in back of me and, of course, is forced to skid off to the side of the road which is conveniently above a river. I caught her arms up in a frenzy out of the corner of my eye and proceeded to chuckle. Some people clearly shouldn't be on the road.

Lunatics aside, today I finished Alexa's senior pictures and finished Colin's about a week ago. I have a lot of those senior pictures to do, it seems. Woo! Money!

Oh, and apologies to anyone I've been blowing off lately. I haven't been feeling too well and have been relishing in my alone time. The normal Katy will be back soon, I'm sure.

Don't Die Or Dry Up

So my friend showed me a link to this shirt that fits Alexa's daily crisis' perfectly. Made for quite the chuckle during my slacker day off from school. Speaking of which, was fabulous. I managed to come up with the Arcade Fire concert review article (save for an ending paragraph.) Excellent.

One essay down, eight more to go.

Tricounty thankfully accepted my polite "fuck off" email and extended the ridiculous culinary article to when I'm not so swamped. Phew.

And this was how I spent my weekend.. Getting my ass wet on driftwood. Pretty!

Ugh?

I spent Friday and Saturday in the pouring rain and now I'm not feeling well. Oh! Pneumonia? So I'm taking up this opportunity to baby myself tomorrow and not stress about the nine essays I have to write. Ew.

I spent the weekend with my family in Newport and it was insanely stormy- I loved it. My dad met up with his old band from the late 70's to mid 80's. They jammed a bit at this restaurant and it was almost inspiring for me. In fact, I'm going to get my tenor fixed tomorrow and schedule an appointment with the school counselor to get myself back into band (as a zero period, don't freak out pub nerds)..

Throat's raw.. Need cough drops.
